The popular Mile 1 market located in Diobu,Port Harcourt in Rivers State was gutted by fire early this morning, destroying goods worth millions of naira.It was disclosed that the fire started around 2:45am. Some traders who were said to havecollapsed as they watched their shops and goods burn, were rushed to hospitals for medical
attention.The cause of the fire is still unknown.
