NFF Media Director, Ademola Olajire,
has confirmed that coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, has been
paid part of his outstanding salaries.
Keshi has not been paid for the last seven months, a revelation that sparked criticisms from many quarters.
“The coach has been paid part of his
outstanding salary, and the Federation is working hard to pay him the
rest as soon as it is possible to do so,” Olajire told KickOffNigeria.
However, another top NFF official, who pleaded anonymity, said that the money paid to the coach was for two months.
“We have paid him two months salaries, and we hope to clear the rest before the end of the year,” he said.
