Chris Brown is out of Rehab

Troubled superstar, Chris Brown’s rehab stay ended up way shorter than the rumored 90-day lock up.

A rep for the singer confirmed Thursday (Nov. 14) that Brown left inpatient treatment. “Chris is continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is also completing his community service in the Los Angeles area,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “He appreciates all of your encouragement and support.”
Mark Geragos, Brown’s lawyer, told TMZ that the Virginia native left the undisclosed facility in order to begin community service stemming from his 2009 assault on Rihanna.
Although it is unclear exactly when he left rehab, Brown was spotted at dinner in L.A. with girlfriend Karrueche Tran Wednesday (Nov. 13) night and posed for a fan photo.
Ironically, taking pictures is what led to the “Love More” singer’s decision to seek treatment in the first place. The Grammy winner was arrested for felony assault in late October after he allegedly attacked a male fan who tried to jump in a photo. Brown reportedly told the fan, “I’m not into this gay s–t, I’m into boxing,” before punching him.
A day after appearing in court over the incident, Brown announced that he was seeking treatment to “gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior.”
